Yep, this sums up how I’m feeling right now.
Since my Canon 5d Mark ii has finally come I’ve been having a short film festival in the comfort of my bed to get my creative juices flowing. Possibly give me some ideas on a short film I could make myself. I’d preferably like to do one where it’s just music but you have to watch two people interact. I’d like to make one where people talk in it eventually, but I’m too cheap to buy a quality microphone right now.
In having my short film festival, I came across this cute 30 minute film. It’s one of those films that reminds me I’m single, but I still like it none the less.

In a era filled with the likes of things such as “Basketball Wives and “The Bad Girls Club”, it was nice to go to an event and see women supporting each other and thriving in creativity. I went to a Mother’s Day tea party with my mother a few weeks back and loved it. The room was filled with positive energy, creative women, and most importantly, food!
It’s really great to see women of color who are thriving in their professional lives happy for each other and supporting each other. I wish this is the kind of stuff they showed on tv so little girls would try to emulate this behavior instead of the mean girl crap they see on tv all the time.
